About the role

Bethlehem Central School District is seeking a 1.0 FTE Replacement Music Teacher (K-5 Classroom/Vocal Music Teacher) for the period from November 16, 2026 through June 30, 2027. The position is located at Eagle and Slingerlands Elementary Schools.

Responsibilities

• Teach K-5 classroom music and vocal music classes.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum standards.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance educational programs.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• NYS Music Certification

Qualifications

• Strong background in music education.
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Effective communication skills.

Benefits

Salary and benefits are based on Teacher's Salary Scale, commensurate with experience.
