About the role

The BEACON - Brevard Employment Application Center ONLINE is seeking an ELEMENTARY EDUCATION 5 teacher to join the Riviera Elementary School team for the 2027 School Year.

Responsibilities

• Teach core academic subjects to students in grades K-5
• Develop lesson plans aligned with state standards
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Incorporate technology into classroom instruction
• Mentor and support new teachers as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Valid Florida Teaching Certificate for ELEMENTARY EDUCATION 5
• At least two years of successful teaching experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents

• Experience with differentiated instruction
• Knowledge of current educational technologies
