About the role
The Electropolish Inspector is responsible for ensuring quality products are efficiently produced through adherence to electropolishing and passivation processes.
Responsibilities
- Follows documented procedures for generating production work daily.
- Ensures adherence to electropolishing and passivation processes, maintaining quality and safety.
- Identifies non-conforming products based on visual and dimensional inspection criteria.
- Communicates quality and quantity issues promptly to supervisors and colleagues.
- Pre-cleans parts manually and documents in-process inspection results.
- Controls and monitors rectifier process time.
- Takes timely improvement actions to meet quality and quantity expectations.
- Maintains equipment in proper working order and recommends maintenance and repairs if necessary.
- Transports in-process work between departments.
- Maintains safety and good housekeeping standards.
- Complies with ISO policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
Skills
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Special attention to detail.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Physical demands: Stand, walk, sit, use hands, handle objects, tools, or controls, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, pull, push up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities: Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to see print in various sizes and formats.
- Work environment: Production environment, exposure to weather conditions, noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high, in some areas.
