Electrophysiologist (Greater Tampa Bay)

About the role

Bay Area Cardiology Associates is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist to join our growing physician-led cardiovascular practice serving the Greater Tampa region. This role includes a mix of clinic and hospital responsibilities with broad exposure to electrophysiology procedures and consultative care across affiliated hospitals and office locations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, both standard and complex
• Performance of routine and complex catheter ablations
• Implantation and management of cardiac devices
• Electrophysiology studies, intracardiac mapping, remote monitoring, and comprehensive inpatient/outpatient EP care
• Opportunities for watchman implantation and other electrophysiology-related structural heart procedures

Requirements

• The incoming physician will work within state-of-the-art clinic and hospital facilities alongside a dedicated team of APPs, medical assistants, and administrative staff.
• Shared Monday–Friday general call responsibilities provide balanced physician support and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Bay Area Cardiology Associates is a Partner Practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA).
• Board Certified / Eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Electrophysiology training programs
• MD or DO
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure
• Open to experienced Electrophysiologists and current fellows
