About the role

Silvus is seeking an entry-level Electronics Technician-I to join the production team for our StreamCaster line of MIMO radios. In this role, you will work closely with operations management and engineering to ensure high-quality and timely delivery while providing feedback for continuous product improvement. Duties may be reassigned at management’s discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Test sensitive electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Perform final assembly and inspection of finished products.
  • Conduct system and quality control testing in production.
  • Log and report statistics with daily feedback to the team.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Good manual dexterity and strong hand skills with tools (e.g., tweezers, screw/bolt drivers, torque wrenches).
  • Competent PC user with computer proficiency.
  • Collaborative spirit, committed to team success.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork.
  • Enjoys hands-on work; careful and detail-oriented.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to federal contract requirements.
  • All employment is contingent upon successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in an electronics manufacturing and testing environment.
  • Linux experience is a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Indoor, air-conditioned facility.
  • Occasional exposure to heat and cold.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Walking/moving in labs.

Pay

$18.75 - $20.75/hour.

Schedule

Full-time, onsite at the Salt Lake City office.
