Electronics Test and Assembly Technician-I (Afternoon Shift)

About the role
Silvus is seeking an entry-level Electronics Technician-I for the production team of the StreamCaster line of MIMO radios. This role will work closely with operations management and engineering to ensure high-quality and timely delivery, while providing feedback for continuous product improvement. This is a fully on-site position located at Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in West Los Angeles.
Responsibilities
- Test sensitive electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Perform final assembly and inspection of finished products.
- Conduct system testing and quality control testing in production.
- Log and report statistics with daily feedback to the team.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Good manual dexterity and strong hand skills with tools (tweezers, screw/bolt drivers, torque wrenches).
- Competent PC user with computer proficiency.
- Collaborative spirit and commitment to team success.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork.
- Enjoys hands-on work; careful and detail-oriented.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to federal contract requirements.
- All employment is contingent upon successful clearance of a background check and drug test.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in an electronics manufacturing and testing environment.
- Linux experience is a plus.
Working Conditions
- Indoor, air-conditioned facility.
- Occasional exposure to heat and cold.
- Requires lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Involves walking and moving in labs.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
Pay
$21.63 - $22.66 per hour. This range is based on market research and peer data and may vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
