Electronics Technician IV

Senior Electronics Engineering Technician Location: Fridley, MN | Fully Onsite Duration: 4-Month Contract with potential for extension or conversion Pay: Up to $41.71/hr. We are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineering Technician with strong hands-on bench-level troubleshooting and electronics testing experience. Key Responsibilities: Perform surface-mount (SMT/SMD) soldering, PCB rework, and component-level repairRead and troubleshoot from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawingsTest and troubleshoot electronic hardware using oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, signal generators, DMMs, and other lab equipmentAssemble, modify, test, and repair PCBs and electronic systemsBuild wire harnesses, test fixtures, probes, cables, and prototype assembliesExecute hardware validation/testing, collect data, and document resultsSupport engineers with troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and product validationAssist with thermal/environmental and EMI/EMC testing as needed Required Qualifications: Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related fieldStrong hands-on SMT/SMD PCB rework and soldering experienceAbility to confidently read and troubleshoot electrical schematicsProficiency with oscilloscopes and AC/DC power supplies/sourcesHands-on PCB, circuit-level, and electronic hardware troubleshooting experience
