About the role
The Electronics Technician III performs additional duties beyond those of the Electronics Technician I and II, including but not limited to troubleshooting and implementing corrective/preventive actions, working with Quality Engineers and Mechanical Engineers, and correlating data for reporting.
Responsibilities
- Complete first level analysis and tear-down inspections on returned electronic drives, meeting customer timelines.
- Repair or refurbish electronic drives as needed.
- Troubleshoot and determine root cause/corrective action (RCCA).
- Work with QE and ME to implement desired corrective/preventive actions.
- Perform functions in Oracle – look up Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Perform functions in Matrix – Enter Return Material Authorization (RMA) data and analysis.
- Correlate data, update daily and weekly RMA metrics.
- May require field service travel for up to one-week per visit.
- Apply knowledge from field returns to post-pack audit process.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Electronics or related field is required.
- Knowledge of Electronic theory comprehension from system to component level.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, adjustable measuring instruments.
- Ability to follow written test procedures and verify test limits.
- Proficiency reading wiring diagrams, identifying components, and soldering.
- Self-motivated and capable of completing tasks without supervision.
- Strong leadership ability and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in electronics repair and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of electronic components and systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Skills

- Computer literacy, particularly proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
