About the role
CRG Defense, near Dayton, Ohio, is an Aerospace and Defense company that develops and delivers innovative, customer-focused technology solutions. We are seeking an Electronics Technician to support both product development and production activities within our electronics team.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic circuits, PCB assemblies, cables, and subassemblies for both prototype and production builds.
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and work instructions to complete tasks accurately.
- Execute manual component-level rework, SMT and through-hole, modifications, and repairs on populated boards.
- Assemble electronics, control, and energy storage systems.
- Support engineering in development activities, including wiring harnesses, test setups, breadboards, and prototype builds.
- Support maintenance and operation of electrical/power test equipment.
- Follow ESD, safety, and quality procedures in a lab and production environment.
- Setup standard test apparatus to conduct functional, operational, and/or environmental testing to evaluate prototype/production performance using multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes.
- Execute test procedures, collect data, and document results for engineering evaluation and design verification.
- Generate and update build records, test logs, and basic work instructions to support repeatable production.
Requirements
- Exclusive US citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Associate's degree or completion of certified program in electronics or equivalent (IPC 610A, IPC J STD-001 Certifications preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in electronics assembly, test, or repair (development, production, or field service environment)

Pay
$50,000 - $80,000 depending on experience
