Electronics Technician 4 (N) - Key West, FL with Security Clearance
About the role
Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and Safety Audits.
Installing and maintaining equipment at both the local and global level per design packages.
Programming and installation of head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems.
Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level.
Lead the on-site software commissioning and testing.
Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory Performing Take off project drawings Create, Document and Track RFIs.
Design assist and feedback
Documenting daily reports and project progress.
Communicating project and team member issues/concerns to management
Create and manage Project schedule Integration of IDS, ACS and CCTV systems
Forecast and Manage Project Labor Hours Communicate effectively with Supervisors and Subordinates
Guide and Mentor Technicians
Requirements
Requires a Valid driver's license. This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle.
Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance to our policy
Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED
- Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours)
- Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Electrical Apprenticeship program
- An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities
Progressive Experience
- 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
- 3 years of the above experience must be focused in electronic security systems
Desired / Advantageous Qualifications
- Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems
- CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systems.
