About the role
This position involves leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs, and Safety Audits. Responsibilities also include installing and maintaining equipment, programming and installing head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems, troubleshooting and isolating systems and hardware, leading software commissioning and testing, performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory, creating and managing project schedules, integrating IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems, forecasting and managing labor hours, and communicating project and team member issues to management.
Responsibilities
- Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs, and Safety Audits.
- Installing and Maintaining equipment at both the local and global level per design packages.
- Programming and Installation of head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems.
- Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level.
- Lead the on-site software commissioning and testing.
- Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory Performing Take off project drawings Create, Document and Track RFIs.
- Design assist and feedback
- Documenting daily reports and project progress.
- Communicating project and team member issues/concerns to management
- Create and manage Project schedule Integration of IDS, ACS and CCTV systems
- Forecast and Manage Project Labor Hours Communicate effectively with Supervisors and Subordinates
- Guide and Mentor Technicians
Requirements
- Requires a Valid driver's license. This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle.
- Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance to our policy.
- Education: HS diploma or GED, Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours), Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program, An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
- Required Progressive Experience: 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs, 3 years of the above experience must be focused in electronic security systems, Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills, Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams, Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
Qualifications
- Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph is REQUIRED
