About the role
This position involves analyzing and interpreting M.C. Dean drawing packages, verifying charges in timesheets, tracking tools, participating in daily safety meetings, creating and executing PITCO plans, installing and configuring electronic devices, and communicating with project teams.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes and interprets M.C. Dean drawing packages to assess constructability.
- Verifies correct charges in timesheets and executes installation and maintenance activities within planned durations.
- Tracks and inspects tools, conducts daily tool inventory, and participates in 10-minute daily ORM meetings.
- Creates and executes PITCO plans, including testing to verify high quality.
- Installs system raceway, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and mounting hardware, adhering to NEC standards.
- Terminates, tests, and configures electronic devices and network equipment.
- Racks and stacks head end equipment, performs cable terminations, and uses industry-standard accessories.
- Communicates with MC Dean Project Teams, demonstrating dedication, punctuality, and preparedness.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, providing and absorbing constructive feedback.
- Plans and prioritizes tasks effectively, embodying M.C. Dean’s vision, mission, and values.
- Surveys and documents existing field conditions, offering feedback and recommendations to the project team.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be able to show proof of US Citizenship (passport).
- High School diploma or GED.
- 4+ years of electronics installation and maintenance on multiple systems and customer programs.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated background in working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
Qualifications
- Cleared/Citizen Type: Applicants must be eligible for a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- Education: HS diploma or GED.
- Progressive Experience: 4+ years of electronics installation and maintenance on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs.
- Preferred Qualifications: Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems, graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Electrical Apprenticeship program, 3 years of experience focused in electronic security systems, strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills, and ability to fuse fiber.
