Electronics Research Engineer

About the role

Develop innovative power electronics concepts and solutions for energy generation, transmission, and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Model, simulate, design, and test power converters, submodules, and devices.
• Develop EMI filter designs for converter applications.
• Contribute to advancing power conversion technologies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to transition concepts into products and services.
• Communicate findings through reports and presentations, and stay updated on industry trends.
• Assist in proposal efforts for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field with relevant experience, or Master’s with at least 2 years in power electronics.
• Minimum of 3 years in research, design, and testing of power electronics and control solutions.
• Familiarity with DC grid concepts, energy storage, microgrids, and renewable integration is a plus.
• Legal work authorization in the U.S. and ability to obtain security clearances.
• Willingness to work at the specified office location.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information may be required.
