Key Responsibilities

• Inspection: Perform visual, mechanical, and functional inspections of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and electronic assemblies.
• Soldering & Repair: Conduct soldering, desoldering, touch-up, rework, and repair activities on through-hole and surface mount (SMT) components.
• Compliance: Identify workmanship defects and verify compliance with IPC standards, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Documentation: Support quality investigations by documenting nonconformances and assisting with root cause analysis activities.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve product quality concerns and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing, assembly, inspection, rework, or repair.
• Demonstrated soldering and desoldering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and basic schematics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current IPC-A-610 and/or IPC J-STD-001 Certification.
• Experience performing advanced rework and repair of PCB assemblies.
• Familiarity with RF, wireless communications, or electronics manufacturing environments.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Ability to perform detailed visual inspections using microscopes and magnification equipment.
• Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout production areas.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
