Location: Yermo, CA | Regular Full Time | Hourly Rate: $35.67 (Contingent Upon Contract Award)
Responsibilities
- Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be resolved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents, including:
- Determining the location and density of circuitry
- Evaluating electromagnetic radiation
- Isolating malfunctions
- Incorporating engineering changes
- Understand interrelationships of circuits and exercise independent judgment in tasks such as:
- Making circuit analyses
- Calculating waveforms
- Trace relationships in signal flow using complex test instruments, including:
- High-frequency pulse generators
- Frequency synthesizers
- Distortion analyzers
- Complex computer control equipment
- Provide technical guidance to lower-level technicians.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of U.S. Army procedures and logistics information systems.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to perform various production control activities, including:
- Gathering and filing records
- Reporting on use of materials
- Monitoring customer requests
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical requirements:
- Ability to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for extended periods.
- Ability to crouch, crawl, grasp, or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee, and reach above/below shoulders.
- Ability to type using a standard keyboard for communication through email and software applications.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 30 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a shop environment that is drafty, noisy, and dirty.
- May be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment.
- Must have or be able to obtain a forklift license.
