Electronic Technician II (Maintenance)
Essential Responsibilities
- Accomplishes organization and intermediate level maintenance on electrical and environmental systems components installed on Boeing and Gulf Stream aircraft, among others, IAW technical data requirements.
- Performs scheduled maintenance on Liquid Oxygen Carts (LOX) and Gaseous Oxygen carts (GOX).
- Ground Service Air Purge Units, shop Air Compressors, and Fuel Cell Explosion Proof Drop Lights.
- Servicing and maintaining Rotor Wing, Fixed Wing, aerospace ground support equipment batteries.
- Covers battery storage areas coordination with Base CE through TRIRIGGA on any issues concerning battery storage areas.
- Assists in the training and direction of assigned personnel.
- Collaborates with Production Supervisors and Maintenance Operation Coordination Center on maintenance efforts.
- Uses and inputs data in Maintenance Information System programs.
- Ensures compliance with applicable safety, housekeeping, tool control, and FOD prevention programs.
- Performs other duties as assigned, to include TDY and travel.
- Receives cross-utilization training and is qualified to perform maintenance tasks associated within classification.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- A working knowledge of electrical and environmental system repair procedures is required.
- A working knowledge of procedures for handling and disposal of hazardous waste materials is required.
- The ability to read, write, speak, and understand English is required.
- The ability to read and interpret data and wiring diagrams is required.
- Occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds is required.
- An FAA Airframe license is required.
- A secret security clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of three years’ experience is preferred.
- Completion of specialized courses in electrical and environmental systems is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
