About the role
We are seeking a hands-on Electronics Lab Technician to support laboratory operations, hardware prototyping, and testing activities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working directly with hardware, tools, and advanced engineering systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize the electronics laboratory, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of all tools and equipment
- Perform electronic troubleshooting using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and related instrumentation
- Support the build, modification, and repair of electronic racks and assemblies, including cable management and integration of components
- Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of environmental test chambers and other specialized testing systems
- Fabricate and prototype components using 3D printing technologies, including preparation of print files and post-processing of printed parts
- Execute hands-on mechanical and electrical tasks, supporting engineering teams with rapid prototyping and hardware iterations
- Document lab processes, equipment usage, and troubleshooting findings to ensure repeatability and knowledge sharing
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices for lab operations
Requirements
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in electronics, engineering technology, or a related field
- Experience with electronic troubleshooting tools and measurement equipment
- Proficiency in assembling and modifying hardware systems, including racks and cable systems
- Familiarity with basic mechanical fabrication and prototyping techniques
- Ability to perform physically hands-on work in a lab environment
