Electronics Hardware Technician 2
About the Role
An Electronics Hardware Technician will participate in all aspects of new product development including schematics, PCB layout, and prototype assembly and validation.
Responsibilities
- Schematic creation and maintenance
- Prototype assembly and troubleshooting
- Soldering rework on electronic assemblies
- Using basic electronic tools, including power sources, oscilloscopes and analyzers
- System setup and troubleshooting for EMC, Safety & Environmental testing
- Data generation and test report completion
Requirements
- AAS in Electronics Technician Specialization or equivalent experience
- Experience building, troubleshooting, and validating electromechanical systems
- Familiarity with electronics hardware and basic electronics tools
- Experience using Microsoft Office365 suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using LabVIEW for measurements and automation
- Experience testing for CE, Safety and Environmental certification
- Experience with test and measurement equipment calibration
