Electronics Equipment Test Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Transport company-owned testing equipment to laboratory and testing facilities
- Assemble, install, and configure equipment at customer and third-party testing sites
- Operate equipment during scheduled testing activities and ensure proper performance
- Monitor equipment functionality and troubleshoot operational issues in real time
- Perform preventative maintenance, adjustments, and calibration checks as required
- Work closely with engineers and testing personnel to ensure successful test execution
- Safely load, unload, secure, and transport equipment between company headquarters and testing locations
- Maintain accurate records of tests, repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operating guidelines at all testing facilities
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED
- A Technical trade school certificate or Associate Degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience working with electronic, electrical, mechanical, or industrial equipment
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and technical documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic test equipment
- Comfortable working independently at laboratory locations
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
