Electronics Equipment Test Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Transport company-owned testing equipment to laboratory and testing facilities
• Assemble, install, and configure equipment at customer and third-party testing sites
• Operate equipment during scheduled testing activities and ensure proper performance
• Monitor equipment functionality and troubleshoot operational issues in real time
• Perform preventative maintenance, adjustments, and calibration checks as required
• Work closely with engineers and testing personnel to ensure successful test execution
• Safely load, unload, secure, and transport equipment between company headquarters and testing locations
• Maintain accurate records of tests, repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operating guidelines at all testing facilities

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED
• A Technical trade school certificate or Associate Degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred
• 1+ years of experience working with electronic, electrical, mechanical, or industrial equipment
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and technical documentation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic test equipment
• Comfortable working independently at laboratory locations
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
