About the role

Join Our Team as an Electronics Engineering Associate Manager where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state-of-the-art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.

Responsibilities

  • Generation of executable plans, coordination of teams, establishment of team goals and objectives that align with the customer and leadership intentions.
  • Success is measured by the ability to plan, schedule and execute within the constraints of a highly complex environment.
  • Assure appropriate test, integration standards and processes are defined and followed.
  • Deliver EGSE in a timely fashion in support of program needs.
  • Execute and lead (technically or functionally) Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college/university in quality management, engineering, management or similar field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Prior technical experience within Systems or Hardware, and/or Software Engineering Quality management leader experience.
  • Experience handling multiple priorities and meeting set deadlines.
  • Understanding Systems Engineering fundamentals, lifecycle, and work products.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience for this role.
  • No clearance is needed to start in this position, but a DoD Secret clearance is required, thus US Citizenship is required.
  • Must be willing to travel to other Lockheed sites.

Skills

  • Program execution in the functional areas of Mechanical, Electrical, or Software/Firmware.
  • Integrating analysis tools via Model Center.
  • Recognized as an authority in systems thinking techniques with the proven track record to apply them to a wide range of sophisticated problems and train others in their application.
  • Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering.
  • Prior customer engagement experiences requiring communication of technical concepts to external stakeholders.

Benefits
