Position Duties/Responsibilities
- Investigate, research and determine applicability of major modifications for the program; including modification that would extend service life, improve survivability, reliability and maintainability and aircraft safety.
- Maintain the budget of FST branch assigned regarding training, workload execution, workload prioritization and capabilities development for multiyear projections.
- Monitor performance of engineering technical analyses, engineering investigations, economic analyses and supports services.
- Be the liaison within aviation technical and industrial communities for in-service issues, support to other military services, foreign military services and customers as appropriate.
- Analyze/recommend adjustments to specific service life intervals for aircraft/weapons and equipment.
