Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of underwater maritime electrical and electromechanical systems.
- Design and implement custom PCBs, particularly for prototype R&D systems.
- Design mixed-signal PCBs with ADCs & DACs, microcontrollers, DC/DC converters, digital communications protocols (RS232/RS422, I2C, I2S, SPI, McBSP), high speed signaling, signal conditioning, preamplifiers, power amplifiers, energy storage and power management, and interfacing to embedded microprocessors.
- Lay out boards and manage vendors providing layout services.
- Participate in laboratory experience with power supplies, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and data acquisition systems, including integration and testing of PCBs, electronics components, and systems.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to solve technical and logistical problems.
Required Skills and Attributes
- A BS, MS, or PhD degree in electrical engineering with a focus in analog and digital circuit design.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing custom PCBs, preferably for prototype R&D systems.
- Experience designing mixed-signal PCBs with ADCs & DACs, microcontrollers, DC/DC converters, digital communications protocols (RS232/RS422, I2C, I2S, SPI, McBSP), high speed signaling, signal conditioning, preamplifiers, power amplifiers, energy storage and power management, and interfacing to embedded microprocessors.
- Experience laying out boards and/or managing vendors that provide layout services.

This position is located in Groton, CT with full relocation provided. The position can also be based out of our Concord, MA office.
