About the role
Join Our Team as an Electronics Engineer for the FBM Reentry Avionics Team, where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state-of-the-art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop integrated avionics designs for battery, power distribution, avionics computers and other Avionics subsystems
- Lead electronics systems development of new reentry bodies
- Provide technical leadership to a group of junior electronics engineers across multiple programs
- Interface with production personnel and resolve as issues they arise
- Participate in technical reviews (TIM, SRR, PDR, CDR) with our customers and co-contractors
- Work onsite full-time in King of Prussia (aka Valley Forge), PA or with flexibility to coordinate time for personal commitment as they arise.
Requirements
- Electrical circuit design and troubleshooting experience
- 5+ years professional experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Experience in synthesizing requirements into electronics design at multiple assembly levels
- Experience with designing, analyzing, testing and/or troubleshooting electronics components and/or circuits
- Demonstrated experience mentoring junior engineers
- Demonstrated good communication with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment and to build consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members
- Willing and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance which requires US Citizenship
Skills
- Experience with Missile flight electronic components and/or power distribution subsystems
- Experience with a combination of design, test and systems engineering disciplines
- Previous or current Certified Product Engineer (CPE) or equivalent responsible product engineer experience
- Experience in schematic capture using Zuken or similar tools
- Experience with failure investigation and root cause analysis
- Experience with SPICE or other electronics modeling/simulation tools
- Demonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
