Electronics Engineer III, Electrical Ground Support Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a creative Electronics Engineer to join an exciting and dynamic team in designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting complex electrical test equipment used to certify space vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Design consists of console level, box level, and board level equipment.
• The equipment is used to stimulate and measure components and functionality of space vehicles.
• Take ownership of the design, production, deployment, and operation of the complex test equipment we deliver.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Professional working knowledge of circuit design and analysis.
• Significant experience with the design, development and integration of Automated Test Equipment or Special Test Equipment.
• Familiarity and knowledge of Power Systems design.
• Working knowledge of lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, DMM, signal Generators, spectrum analyzers.
• Strong background in cross-discipline systems engineering practices including requirements development/maintenance, architecture, hardware/software design, integration and verification.
• DoD Secret clearance is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience.
• US Citizenship is required due to the need for a Secret clearance.

Skills

This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Sunnyvale CA and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.
