About the role

This position supports the development, production, and certification of the Detonation End Point (DEP) on the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program. It is based at Lockheed Martin Space facilities in Littleton, CO, and requires a flexible 9x80 schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a cross-functional team to support the development, production, and certification of an ordnance control and firing product.
  • Participate in design reviews, Engineering Material Review Board (EMRB) hardware discrepancy decisions, and Failure Review Board (FRB) as required.
  • Resolve test anomalies through troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Generate End Item Data Package for Product Certification, and integrate assemblies into system.
  • Manage risk and identify mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, schedule, and mission success objectives.
  • Support the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
  • Interact with peers, management, and government customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Experience in development and production of Analog or Digital Electronic circuitry.
  • Experience supporting product acceptance testing and requirements verification.

Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus a US Citizen.

Skills

  • Experience in a Responsible Engineer/Product Lead role for analog and digital electronics.
  • Familiarity with engineering processes.
  • Proficiency with end item hardware development.
  • Familiarity with processes on failure investigation (root cause analysis, Failure Review Boards, etc.).
  • Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
  • Experience in different phases of aerospace electronic component development cycle.
  • Experience interacting with peers, management, and government customers.
  • Proficient in presentations and written communications.
  • 5+ years of professional experience.
