Electronics Engineer | Battery Management Systems Are you an Electronics Engineer who enjoys turning complex requirements into reliable, production-ready hardware? We are seeking an Electronics Engineer to design, test, and support advanced battery electronics. This hands-on position offers involvement throughout the complete product lifecycle, from initial concept and prototype development through validation, qualification, production, and long-term technical support. What You’ll Do Design battery electronics for voltage, temperature, and current monitoringDevelop cell-balancing, communication-bus, and safety-disconnect systemsTranslate customer and internal requirements into compliant electronic designsDevelop electronic systems from concept and prototype through validation and qualificationPerform circuit design, analysis, simulation, schematic capture, and PCB layoutDesign analog measurement, signal-conditioning, and A/D conversion circuitsDesign and manage high-current charge and discharge pathsPerform design verification testing, document results, and improve designs based on findingsSelect, screen, test, and qualify electronic componentsDesign electronics capable of operating in harsh environments, including vibration, shock, thermal cycling, humidity, and corrosive conditionsTroubleshoot existing assemblies and conduct root cause analysisDevelop corrective actions for design, manufacturing, testing, and performance issuesIdentify and qualify alternate components and sourcesCreate and maintain schematics, PCB manufacturing packages, BOMs, FMEAs, test reports, compliance matrices, parts-stress analyses, and reliability documentationPresent technical information to engineering teams, leadership, and external stakeholdersHelp identify and mitigate risks involving quality, schedule, and cost Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldExperience with analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversionExperience with microcontrollers and serial communication protocolsHands-on experience with schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layoutExperience developing and maintaining engineering and production documentationStrong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage priorities and meet project schedulesStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyMust qualify as a U.S. person due to the nature of the work Preferred Experience Battery Management System designAC-to-DC or DC-to-DC power conversionPrecision voltage and current measurementHigh-current circuit designAltium DesignerEmbedded software or firmware programmingElectronics design for high-reliability or harsh environmentsSolidWorks or SolidWorks PDMFamiliarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, DoD, NASA, or IPC standards If you enjoy solving challenging electronics problems and want to take designs from initial concept through real-world application, apply today for a confidential conversation.
