What You'll Do
- Develop and execute category strategies that improve cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity.
- Build strategic relationships with manufacturers and authorized distribution partners.
- Lead supplier negotiations, including pricing, payment terms, lead times, and long-term agreements.
- Partner with Engineering to support new product introductions, component standardization, and value engineering initiatives.
- Monitor market conditions and supplier performance to proactively manage supply risk.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers that support capacity, growth, and business continuity.
- Drive continuous cost reduction and supplier performance improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of strategic sourcing or category management experience supporting electrical or industrial electronic commodities.
- Experience negotiating with global manufacturers and distribution partners.
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical components, controls, and automation products.
- Proven ability to develop sourcing strategies and deliver measurable cost savings.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- PREFERRED: Experience in HVAC, industrial equipment, electrical controls, or data center infrastructure.
- PREFERRED: Familiarity with suppliers such as Siemens, ABB, Schneider Electric, Eaton, Phoenix Contact, Rockwell Automation, Weidmüller, WAGO, or similar industrial manufacturers.
