About the role

The Electronic Assemblies Operator is responsible for performing repetitive intermediate-level assembly work on low-volume, high-mix assembly lines to mass produce transformers, inductors and power supply products. Key responsibilities include working independently within the team, displaying process integrity, helping to benchmark productivity and quality, maintaining high-quality standards, and assisting in solving quality and production issues.

Responsibilities

  • Reliable team member that can work independently within the team.
  • Displays process integrity.
  • Consistently helps benchmark expectations of productivity and quality of work.
  • Displays the highest level of quality standards.
  • Leads by example when relating to Core Values.
  • J-STD-001D Inspection certified.
  • Possess a basic understanding of problem solving (PDCA) and the ability to identify and/or solve quality problems.
  • Possesses an advanced understanding of the principles of Lean Manufacturing.
  • Possesses an advanced understanding of the principles of visual workplace management.
  • Assists in solving quality and production issues on the line.
  • Displays an ability to train other team members in various production activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

  • Able to independently read and understand production drawings and work instructions.
  • Able to work with chemicals.
  • Good manual dexterity/ability.
  • Working in a repetitive job.
  • Working knowledge of quality practices.
  • Mets vision requirements specified by quality management system.

Qualifications and Experience

  • GED or High School Diploma preferred but not required.
  • Two years experience in electronics assembly preferred.
  • Soldering experience of one year preferred.
  • Inspection and training experience preferred.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
