Electronic Warfare Stimulator Technician

About the role

The Modeling and Simulations Environment (MoSE) team, as part of Electronic Combat Solutions, seeks technicians to support the development and continuous improvement of Electronic Warfare stimulators. These stimulators are used to test the world's most advanced electronics.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates an extensive understanding of test equipment and components related to electronics and fundamental electrical principles.
• Sets up and operates test stands consisting of multiple standard test equipment such as pulse generators, amplifiers, oscilloscopes, voltmeters, counters, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
• Operates according to prescribed procedures and engineering instructions to perform operational tests on products.
• Interprets test data and compares results against specifications, test procedures, and data sheets to ensure proper functionality and test quality.
• Diagnoses and locates malfunctions within units, applying technical knowledge, skill, and ingenuity.
• Approves or rejects test results and records data, submitting acceptance or failure reports.
• Notifies supervisors of unusual conditions or undesirable trends.
• Integrates, updates, and sustains RF stimulators as needed.
• Communicates status and updates to a broad team and contributes to team goals.
• Supports programs with troubleshooting throughout the integration and test processes.
• Works in the laboratory environment with RF hardware and complex simulations.
• Collaborates with vendor representatives on-site to support maintenance actions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Active US Secret clearance (or within the past two years)
• 2+ years of work experience in electronic testing or a field service role

Preferred Skills

• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
• Technical School degree or certificates
• Knowledge of EW and RF concepts
• Experience with CEESIMs or other complex stimulators in working with prime mission equipment

Full-Time Salary Range: $57,319 - $91,710
