Relocation assistance may be available. This position requires an active US Government Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) and the ability to obtain and maintain SCI and Special Access Program (SAP) clearances. Travel up to 25% may be required. This role is full-time, on-site with no remote/hybrid/telework options available.

The Electronic Warfare (EW) Engineer will be a high-energy individual working within an Integrated Product Team. Responsibilities include tracking deployed assets, collecting asset-related status reports, coordinating with Integrated Logistics Support teams, participating in Material Improvement Process Review Board meetings, and providing feedback on action items. The role involves monitoring Line Replaceable Units returned from the field, coordinating repairs, and communicating across engineering, operations, and logistics teams to implement requirements.
The successful candidate will coordinate with customers and vendors to ensure assets are functional and failed assets are repaired promptly. They will provide customer guidance on operation and maintenance, support readiness reviews, site-specific training, test briefs and debriefs, and security coordination with test directors. Post-test responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing test logs, validating test data files, troubleshooting hardware and software, and defect investigation. Pre-test support includes system checkout, test planning, and ensuring test objectives are met within operational specifications.
Additional responsibilities include coordinating anomalies with engineering and supplier Subject Matter Experts, reviewing service bulletins, training for new software upgrades, and tracking Discrepancy Reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline and:
- 2 years of related engineering experience (Electronic Warfare Engineer level), OR
- 5 years of related engineering experience (Principal Electronic Warfare Engineer level), OR
- Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline and:
- 0 years of related engineering experience (Electronic Warfare Engineer level), OR
- 3 years of related engineering experience (Principal Electronic Warfare Engineer level), OR
- PhD in a STEM discipline and 1 year of related engineering experience (Principal Electronic Warfare Engineer level).
- Experience working with EW airborne payload systems.
- Active US Government Top-Secret Clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Ability to obtain and maintain US Government SCI clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
- Active US Government Top Secret SCI clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Ability to interpret numerical data for reporting and prepare/analyze data and figures.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Supplier Management Experience.
Pay
Primary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00
The above salary ranges represent general guidelines. Northrop Grumman considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions when determining base salary offers. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
