Responsibilities
- Developing and conducting tests on satellite and space hardware, ensuring all products meet the required standards and specifications.
- Create and implement test methods and procedures to identify any potential issues or faults.
- Perform electrical testing at both unit and spacecraft level, analyzing the results to identify any areas for improvement.
- Conduct failure analysis using methods such as Ishikawa (fishbone) and “5-Why”, etc.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing, determining the best course of action to resolve these issues.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with AS9100 standards.
- Collaborate with other team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve overall team performance.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the field, continually looking for ways to improve testing processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with satellite and space hardware testing.
- Knowledge and experience in test method development.
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards.
- Experience with failure analysis methods such as Ishikawa (fishbone) and “5-Why” (preferred).
- Electrical testing experience at both unit and spacecraft level.
- Linux, scripting (Python, etc.) (preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
- A strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot potential issues before they become problems.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to take the initiative and work independently when required.
