Location: Warner Robins, Georgia (Onsite)
About the role
This role is for the repair, modification, and maintenance of a variety of electronic equipment and Electronic Warfare systems. The position involves working on complex, mission-critical systems and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and disassemble electronic subassemblies.
- Wire circuits, replace components, and repair electronic assemblies.
- Perform routine electronic preventative maintenance on special test equipment (STE) and test stations.
- Perform test readings using instruments such as Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Curve Tracers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, and Digital Multimeters.
- Troubleshoot to the component level to determine the cause of and remedy for malfunctions.
- Conduct routine engineering tests and detailed experimental testing.
- Perform calibration checks on electronic instruments.
- Utilize practical electronic theory and basic tools.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in an Electronics-related field or a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in an Electronics-related position.
- 3+ years of relevant electronics experience.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeter (DMM), or similar test equipment.
- Ability to recognize basic electronic components and work from schematics, diagrams, rough sketches, and verbal instructions.
- Experience with Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Curve Tracers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, and Digital Multimeters.
- Must be able to work various shifts.
- Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia.
- Self-starter with the ability to work with little to no supervision.
- Ability to follow test procedures, work instructions, and other process documents.
- Must work well in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) in a lab environment.
- Experience testing and troubleshooting RF assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Experience with testing and tuning microwave assemblies.
- Experience testing and troubleshooting Electronic Warfare systems.
- Soldering experience or familiarization.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm to 12:30 am.
