Electronic System Control Craftworker (TC-K)

About the role

This position has primary responsibility and provides the specialist capability for the installation, modification, adjustment, replacement, diagnosis, repair, software maintenance programming, and preventive maintenance for real-time digital electronic computer control systems (Data Acquisition and Control Systems [DACS]).

Responsibilities

• Installation of real-time digital electronic computer control systems (DACS)
• Modification of DACS
• Adjustment of DACS
• Replacement of DACS components
• Diagnosis of DACS issues
• Repair of DACS
• Software maintenance programming for DACS
• Preventive maintenance for DACS

Requirements

• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre‑Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
• One‑year probationary period during which the agency evaluates fitness and continued employment.
• Appointment subject to favorable suitability or fitness determination via background investigation.
• Direct deposit of pay is required.
• Position is part of the Material Maintenance Management Career Program under the Logistics Career Management Directorate.
• Selection subject to Department of Defense referral system restrictions for displaced employees.

Pay

Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement.
