Electronic Security Systems Engineer
About the Role
As an Electronic Security System Engineer, you will work independently and collaboratively to implement and design electronic security and surveillance systems solutions with minimal direction. Primary responsibilities include access control and security surveillance cameras, operational technical support, design, and integration of these systems with existing platforms, as well as migration to new platforms.
The work scope involves developing drawings, performing design calculations, generating documentation, identifying configurations, constructing test plans and procedures, producing training plans and materials, implementing configurations, conducting testing, delivering training, and completing project closeout. You will provide support throughout the project lifecycle, from conception and design to installation, testing, maintenance, and beyond.
You will collaborate with various levels of the management team to ensure the successful implementation of all submittals, equipment, and support related to electronic security and surveillance products. Additionally, you will review project design documents to ensure they are technologically correct, properly documented, and aligned with company standards. Compliance with applicable standards and codes, including Department of Health (DOH), Joint Commission, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and manufacturer recommendations, is essential.
