Electronic Security Integration Journeyman

Requirements

• WA State Driver’s License
• 06 Limited Energy Journey Level Certification
• Pass Background check

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and troubleshoots new CCTV, access control, and security systems.
• Ensures that systems are installed properly and on time in accordance with i2G's procedures and quality control standards.
• Provides feedback and information to identify any potential barriers to timely execution of the project, such as construction delays or changes.
• Provides accurate documentation for completed work.
• Maintains assigned company-owned vehicles, tools, equipment, and individual tool issue.
• Maintains and protects building keys to customer buildings.
• Communicates with customers, customer representatives, contractors and i2G staff as necessary to install and test equipment.
• Stays up to date and knowledgeable in i2G services, technology as well as internal processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Current CPR, First Aid, AED, BBP Certification
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• Hands-on experience with hand and power tools
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use metering devices
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and carry tools and equipment not to exceed seventy-five pounds
• Must be able to distinguish colors
• Must be able to interface and communicate with customers and co-workers in a clear and professional manner
• Ability to use MS Word, Excel, etc.
• Must be able to follow the installation, testing, and troubleshooting procedures outlined by i2G
• Must be available to work overtime, weeknights, and/or weekends when necessary
• Must continue to maintain a safe driving record and valid driver’s license to fulfill the travel requirements of this position
