Electronic Field Engineer
Primary Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for integration and testing of Automated Test Equipment (ATE), maintenance of test equipment in our Huntsville facility, and providing maintenance support to test stations fielded at customer locations. You will install, integrate, and test equipment upon delivery at customer locations, develop training material tailored to individual customers and conduct training at our Huntsville facility and customer locations.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics Technology, or similar and 4 years of experience; 4 additional years’ experience may offset the degree requirement.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance or ability to obtain.
- Experience with C/C++.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Detailed understanding gained through hands-on experience with fault isolation, diagnostics, and repair of electronics.
- Soldering experience.
- 2+ years’ experience developing and delivering training.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PATRIOT radar / missile systems in a civilian capacity or prior experience as Army Warrant Officer in military occupational specialty (MOS) 948D or 140E, or enlisted MOS 94M, 94S, 94T, 94Z, 14E, or 14T.
About the Role
This sub family is responsible for providing on-site consultation oversight and integration support of existing hardware, software, network configurations and new system initiatives for all sites within area of responsibility. Advises on technical requirements for products and services, support equipment and electronic equipment installations. Provides guidance for the handling, installation and utilization of various systems and equipment. Duties also may include assisting in development and ensuring adherence to area-wide procedural/policy changes.
Impact
Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on the area/ project team. Works independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments. May assist other technical staff with tasks and assignments.
Complexity
Adds addresses somewhat complex technical issues/problems using best internal practice and through collaboration with colleagues. Develops solutions to technical problems that require depth of technical knowledge but are typically limited in complexity.
Communication
Communicates with colleagues across multiple areas (project managers, other technical resources, etc.). Explain technical solutions, practices and procedures to others within the organization.

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range $59,150.00 - $106,925.00
