Electronic Attack EW Systems Engineer
Roles And Responsibilities (Technical)
- Develop new EA capabilities for application in EW systems
- Perform systems engineering functions such as developing and managing systems level requirements
- Develop operational systems concepts
- Perform system architecture trade studies
- Originating design concepts or performing systems level integration and test for highly complex systems
- Prepare and/or deliver basic customer and technical presentations
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science and 6 years of work experience
- Experience with offensive (stand-off/escort) and/or defensive (self-protection) EA systems
- EW system design knowledge as it relates to the detection and countering of radar and missile system engagements
- Experience with EA/ESM system architectures
- Experience with systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- M.S. in either Systems, Software, or Electrical Engineering
- Functional Management experience (e.g., performance management, staffing)
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance
- Additional skills within the Electronic Attack (EA)/Electronic Warfare Support (ES) portions of Electronic Warfare (EW) to include:
- Understand radar signal processing techniques
- Understand radar operation and employment
- Understand digital signal processing concepts including FFT and DRFM
- Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
