We’re seeking an Assembler to work at a premier manufacturing client in Largo, FL.
Pay
- Mechanical Assembler
- 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM): $17.00/hr
- 2nd Shift (3:24 PM – 11:54 PM): $18.70/hr
- Electronic Assembler
- 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM): $18.25/hr
- 2nd Shift (3:24 PM – 11:54 PM): $19.95/hr

Responsibilities
- Assemble a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, electronic, and optical products by following detailed written instructions and blueprints
- Perform soldering tasks and demonstrate proficiency meeting J-STD certification standards
- Assemble, prepare, and mold wire harnesses and cable assemblies
- Inspect parts, assemblies, and products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards
- Perform tests on assemblies, as well as preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
- Use hand tools and manual, semi-automatic, and automatic assembly/test equipment
- Comply with ESD requirements and all safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and contribute to 5S and continuous improvement activities
- Communicate with other shifts as needed regarding job status and production updates
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience as an electronic assembler with proven soldering proficiency
- Able to complete J-STD soldering certification and pass a soldering skill evaluation
- Read and interpret blueprints and follow detailed work instructions
- Basic understanding of computers
- Willing and able to rotate through different manufacturing processes and work overtime as scheduled
- Able to stand for up to 8 hours per day, bend, stoop, use hands, and lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted
- Unaided or corrected visual acuity of at least 20/40 in each eye at 20 feet, with the ability to distinguish colors
- High school diploma or equivalent
