You’ll be: Assembling, wiring, and installing a variety of electronic components following assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, and verbal instructionsSelecting components for integration into sub-assembly and assembly unitsUsing a wide range of hand tools, including soldering irons, cutters, screwdrivers, and crimping toolsInspecting your own work and ensuring compliance with all documentation and time requirementsReading and interpreting engineering drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing assembly instructionsRecording job activities and using computer systems like MRP-SAP, Chorus 2.0, and Team Center to verify documents and proceduresSupporting calibration of test equipment and hand tools, and assisting with tool crib operationsParticipating in continuous improvement programs by following Lean Concepts and 5S guidelinesAssisting other production lines, warehouse, stockroom, and kitting teams as needed This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You Have a High School Diploma/GED, or a one-year certificate from a college/technical school, or two to three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceBring 3–5 years of experience in electronic/mechanical assembly and/or cabling and harnessingAre able to read and build from engineering drawings and understand engineering revision nomenclatureCommunicate and understand verbal and written instructions effectivelyAre a proven team player with a collaborative approach to accomplishing goalsAre flexible and willing to support different areas as neededHave computer proficiency to look up engineering EOs and documentation(Preferred) Have experience with prototype cable manufacturing, IPC-620 or IPC-610 certification, and mechanical assemblyPossess strong soldering skills and familiarity with crimping tools What happens next Once you apply, you’ll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
