Electromechanical Welding Quality Inspector II

Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of electromechanical products and welded assemblies, verifying compliance with engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and customer specifications.
- Validate dimensional tolerances using precision hand inspection tools.
- Inspect both mechanical components and electrical assemblies.
- Perform electrical verification such as continuity and pinout checks.
- Review First Article Inspections (FAIs), Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), and inspection documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and traceability.
Requirements
- Experience inspecting electromechanical components, preferably cooling systems.
- Hands-on welding inspection experience with knowledge of weld integrity and inspection techniques.
- 5+ years of quality inspection experience, or 3+ years with an ASME or CWI certification.
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a hands-on quality environment.
- Ability to work independently while representing SQA Services at supplier locations.
Skills
- Strong understanding of quality documentation and inspection processes.
- Interpretation of engineering drawings, including wiring diagrams.
