Electromechanical Technician (Nights) - $2,500 Sign-On Bonus!
About the role
This position is responsible for maintaining electrical and mechanical systems on all automation equipment. (S)he will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems and implementing corrective and preventative measures. Follow all required work safe practices. This would include compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair a wide range of high-speed manufacturing and automation equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime and equipment reliability
- Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot, analyze, and proactively identify potential failures
- Disassemble equipment to access and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
- Inspect components to identify wear, misalignment, and performance gaps
- Repair or replace defective parts with a focus on root cause resolution
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment performance and efficiency
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and findings
- Demonstrate consistent attendance and reliability
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support plant operations
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with low and high voltage electrical systems
- Strong troubleshooting expertise in:
- Rotary fillers and filling systems
- Packaging equipment (conveyance, case packing, palletizing, etc.)
- Processing systems (pumps, valves, heat exchangers, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair:
- PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Servo systems and VFDs
- Proven ability to diagnose issues across electrical, mechanical, and control systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Comfortable using computers and maintenance systems (CMMS experience a plus)
- Flexible to support shift work, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physically capable of working in an industrial environment, including frequent reaching (31–77 inches)

Pay
$27–$40/hour base pay (based on experience), plus $2.00/hour shift differential for night shifts. Now offering a $2,500 Sign-On Bonus!!!
