Electromechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures; perform tasks in a safe manner.
• Perform electrical diagnosis and repair on given shift to include the maintenance, service, and repair of electrical and electronic equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Utilize Allen Bradley, Modicon, and Square D PLC logic programming.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, sketches, and schematics.
• Work with low voltages and three phase 480V circuits.
• Experience in repairing, installing, and troubleshooting commercial industry machinery, robotics, plumbing, and/or physical building structure is desired.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed and to take on additional assignments as requested by management.
• Maintain 5S standards.
• Weekly on-call 6 times a year max.

Qualifications

• Formal technical training in electronics with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the craft.
• Associates degree in electronic field or Journeyman’s card preferred.
• Robotic background preferred.
• Must be able to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, and any other PPE that is required in the performance of the responsibilities of the position.
• Valid Kansas Class C driver’s license required.
