BASIC DUTIES
- Diagnostics and repairs of machinery, motor control centers, VFDs, sensors, instrumentation, power distribution equipment, and automated production systems.
- Analyzes equipment failures, performs root cause analysis, and implements corrective actions to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
- Leads major repairs, equipment installations, and system upgrades.
- Provides technical guidance and mentorship to EM Tech B, EM Tech C, and PM Technicians.
- Ensures compliance with OSHA, NEC, and company safety policies.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and responding to emergency breakdown situations.
- Capable of climbing ladders, working at heights, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in manufacturing environments including exposure to heat, dust, noise, vibration, and moving machinery.
PHYSICAL DEMAND
Somewhat disagreeable; exposure to high voltage systems, heat, noise, dust, oils, vibration, and moving mechanical equipment.

Responsibility for Safety and Work Conditions
Inattention, improper troubleshooting, or unsafe work practices may cause serious injury to self or others, equipment damage, arc flash incidents, or extended production downtime. Strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout and electrical safety procedures is mandatory.
