Responsibilities
- Assist with installations, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment.
- Repair, service, adjust, and test equipment including: Air systems and pneumatic equipment, electrical wiring and assemblies, production and material handling equipment, hardware and mechanical components.
- Assemble and disassemble equipment while maintaining high maintenance and safety standards.
- Assemble wires, electrical components, and install electrical assemblies.
- Assist with projects related to new equipment installations and test systems.
- Support implementation of equipment and instrumentation for assigned projects.
- Help with mechanical and process observations and fact-finding activities.
- Communicate results and assist with recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with other employees to improve task execution.
- Follow established procedures and safety protocols.
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- May operate forklifts, hoists, and other heavy equipment.
Qualifications
- Ability to read basic drawings, schematic diagrams, and electrical code.
- Foundational electrical and electronic knowledge.
- Basic mechanical experience with machine parts and equipment.
- General knowledge of computers and software preferred.
- Safe operation of hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must have regular and punctual attendance.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
