Electromechanical Technician

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test electromechanical products following detailed work instructions.
  • Troubleshoot small electromechanical products, processes, and test equipment.
  • Interpret engineering prints and schematics accurately.
  • Develop and interpret production documents such as work instructions and checklists.
  • Train production employees on safety, quality, and process standards.
  • Support safety and quality initiatives including 5S, ESD, and FOD.
  • Aid in process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or relevant technical degree.
  • 1-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with electromechanical products and mechanical assembly.
  • Proficiency in industrial panel wiring.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with precision instrumentation and complex electromechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in Solidworks and diagnostics.
  • Ability to work with schematics and develop work instructions.
  • Experience in defense or medical device industries.
  • Consideration for students able to work part or full time on contract.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • The standard hours are 7 am - 4 pm, with overtime required at times.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
