Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems used in industrial production environments.
- Integrate industrial equipment and control systems into existing production lines and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with electromechanical and PLC-based systems to maximize system uptime.
- Provide on-site technical support to operations teams, including diagnosing issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Aid with system commissioning and startup activities, including testing, verification, and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation such as wiring diagrams, procedures, and maintenance records.
- Support end-user training by explaining system functions, operating procedures, and basic troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve system reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with electromechanical systems in industrial environments.
- Proficiency in PLC systems, including PLC programming, troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation.
- Ability to assemble, install, and maintain electrical and mechanical components safely and accurately.
- Demonstrated experience integrating industrial equipment into production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues on complex systems.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in industrial assembly, maintenance, or commissioning.
- Technical certification in electrical, electromechanical, or a related field.
- Certification equivalent to U.S. low-voltage electrical standards (preferred but important for the role).
- Ability to develop clear technical documentation and support user training.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for short assignments (such as a few weeks to a month).
Essential Skills
- Experience with PLC or industrial control systems in production or manufacturing environments.
- Spanish language skills are a plus and can support collaboration during international travel.
- Familiarity with commissioning new industrial systems and bringing them into full operation.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, mission-critical environments where system reliability is essential.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with operations, engineering, and support teams.
- Motivation to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects, such as modernization of critical systems.
