Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

This role primarily involves responding to trouble calls on industrial equipment, performing moderate to complex electrical and electronic repairs, installations, and adjustments to industrial extrusion and printing equipment used in the manufacture of flexible packaging.

Responsibilities

• Organize repair and maintenance work for smooth, efficient operations; track all time and materials used for work orders and repairs using manual and electronic means.
• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues for extrusion and print press machines, as well as supporting industrial blowers, pumps, and other equipment.
• Transfer waste oil to DOT-approved drums and ensure proper labeling, material handling, and storage of hazardous, regulated, and universal wastes (e.g., fluorescent bulbs).
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate necessary repairs.
• Recommend, plan, repair, modify, and fabricate necessary elements following equipment issues or projects.
• Analyze and resolve all equipment-related issues while utilizing all safety precautions.
• Actively participate in regular meetings and safety trainings.

Requirements

• Experience in industrial electrical repair and PLCs.
• Working knowledge of print press and extrusion machines.
• Ability to use computers for work orders, parts lookup, emails, instructions, safety training, and report submission.

Schedule

Night shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM (12-hour shifts) on a 2-2-3 rotation.

Pay

Starting at $33–$34 per hour, plus a $1.75 night shift differential for hours worked past 5:00 PM.
