Job Description Electrician - Days - Starting wage $35.90 Works in accordance with plant operations’ safety and quality programs to provide a safe and quality minded working environment. Install, maintain, and repair a variety of electromechanical equipment Perform calibration activities to ensure compliance with set industry codesModify and adjust process equipment and instruments to specificationsResponsible for cleanup of wastes and debris resulting from maintenance activities and proper management of the wastes generatedResponsible for notification to appropriate plant personnel or emergency coordinators if and when a hazardous material or waste is spilled during material handling activitiesTrain and assist other mechanics when applicable and collaborate professionally with production operators and other personnel.Perform regular and preventative maintenance on installed electromechanical equipmentCommunicate effectively at shift change with millwrights, supervisors, and operatorsTroubleshoots any malfunction on production equipment and facility equipment with minimum supervisionTroubleshoot complex problems associated with electromechanical machinery by following precedential stepsInstall electric parts and hardwareRepair and calibrate electro pneumatic assemblies to meet job specificationsDiagnose issues with control systems and employ tactics to resolve them effectivelyResponsible for using Maintenance shop tools and equipment properly on all production equipment.Participate in continuous improvement of operations and productionMaintain knowledge of drawings, blueprints, schematics and inspection manualsFill out work orders and create reports for each task completed during the dayResponsible for keeping the Maintenance Shop facilities and equipment clean and orderly at all times.Responsible for identifying existing or potential problems and taking appropriate actions to prevent or reduce production equipment downtime for corrective maintenance.Assist mechanical millwrights as needed for mechanical repair.Performs other duties as assigned by department supervisor/manager.
