Electromechanical Automatic Installer (Division 8/28)
About the role
The Electromechanical Automatic Opening Installer plays a critical role in our Division 8 and Division 28 operations, installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining automatic door systems, electrified door hardware, access-controlled openings, and related electromechanical components. This position supports new construction, retrofit, renovation, and service projects across commercial, healthcare, education, government, hospitality, industrial, and multifamily facilities. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and experienced working with doors, frames, hardware, automatic operators, low-voltage systems, and building access control integrations. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to delivering high-quality installations and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow architectural drawings, door schedules, shop drawings, wiring diagrams, and project specifications to ensure accurate installations.
