Job Description
You will be the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer Staff, Level 4 for the Aeronautics team which is responsible for advancing cutting‑edge air‑mobility capabilities.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer Staff, Level 4 you will be responsible for leading requirements development, tracking, and verification testing of systems, as well as driving integration of developmental and deployable payloads onto air mobility platforms.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Lead requirements development, tracking, and verification testing for system‑level projects
- Conduct Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing and design flight‑test modification procedures
- Perform RF/COSITE analysis, antenna‑radome performance assessments, and RF/fiber‑optic cabling evaluations
- Lead key working groups and system/payload trade studies to inform design decisions
- Cookordinate domestic travel for on‑site integration and validation activities

Further Information About This Opportunity
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start.

Desired Skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Design concepts of EMI/EMC knowledge with experience
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-461F/G, MIL-STD-464C/D
- Basic understanding of the Systems Engineering process
- Ability to multi-task and work with multiple teams on different concurrent projects
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) systems, RF COSITE analysis, antenna systems and measurement, RF/Fiber optic cabling, and/or antenna radome performance
- Computational Electromagnetics Modeling experience
